The Department of Physics, University of Wisconsin-Madison invites applications for a tenure track assistant professor position in theoretical astrophysics, to begin in August 2002. Commitment to teaching at the graduate and undergraduate levels is expected. We encourage applicants with broad interests, which might include nuclear, gravitational, X-ray, gamma-ray, cosmic-ray, neutrino, or particle astrophysics or cosmology, and a desire to interact with the strong experimental groups in the department in several of these areas.
