Nuclear  Theory

University  of  Washington

The Nuclear Theory Group at the University of Washington anticipates openings for one Research Assistant Professor and one or two Postdoctoral Fellows to begin in the fall of 2000.

Current research interests include

  • QCD
  • many-body theory
  • nuclear reactions at high and low energies
  • weak interactions and symmetries
  • effective field theory
  • heavy quark physics
  • nuclear astrophysics
  • nuclear structure.

    Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree and a documented record of research achievements. They should submit a C.V., a list of publications, and an outline of research interests, and arrange for three letters of reference to be sent to
