Research Interests
I am a third year graduate student in theoretical astrophysics at the University of Washington. My primary interest is in connecting modern simulations of accreting black hole systems to current and future observations using relativistic radiative transfer. As a tool towards this end, I've written Geokerr, a code to rapidly calculate photon trajectories in the vicinity of a spinning black hole. It is freely available for use by the community.
