On yours truly
I grew up in Athens, Greece, in the suburb of Ilioupoli. I got my
undergrad degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the
National Technical University of Athens. In 2003 I moved to Urbana, IL
where I started my Ph.D. in Physics at the University of Illinois at
Urbana-Champaign. I did research under the supervision of Vijay
Pandharipande from 2004 up to late 2005. I then moved
to Los Alamos, NM to work with Joe Carlson, in the Nuclear Theory
group of Los Alamos National Laboratory. In 2009 I moved to Seattle,
where I spent nearly three years as a Research Associate in the Department of Physics
of the University of Washington.
In May 2012 I moved to Germany to spend a year in the department of Physics
of the Technical University of Darmstadt.
