Who is Amar Andalkar?

I am currently a postdoctoral Research Associate working in experimental atomic physics in the lab of Prof. Norval Fortson at the University of Washington in Seattle. I received my Ph.D. in the same group in June 2001, working on a novel method for spin polarizing atoms using linearly polarized light, known as "spontaneous polarization". In addition to this project, I have been involved with several other experiments in the lab both during and after my graduate career (see the links below).
