Advisers

We believe that it is very important that students don't make decisions alone! Furthermore, not everything may go perfectly all the time. Thus, the Department has an Undergraduate Advising Office, essentially open every working day, and an Undergraduate Faculty Adviser, available most of the time by e-mail and by appointment. For issues related to the first year courses, an additional staff Adviser is available. At the administrative level, the Department has an Undergraduate Associate Chair and a Department Chair to resolve these type of Departmental problems. Currently these positions are filled by: Undergraduate Staff Adviser: Margot Nims Undergraduate Faculty Adviser: Professor Robert Van Dyck Phys 11X and Phys 12X series courses: Susan Hong Undergraduate Associate Chair: Professor Blayne Heckel Department Chair: Professor David Boulware
