The Particle/Field/String Theory Group at the University of Washington invites applications for a postdoctoral research associate position starting in autumn 2013. The appointment will be for two years, with a possible extension for a third year. Faculty members in the group are Steve Ellis, Andreas Karch, Ann Nelson, Steve Sharpe, and Laurence Yaffe. We have strong ties to experimental groups interested in hadron collider physics and particle astrophysics, and to the nuclear theory group and Institute for Nuclear Theory at the University of Washington. Applicats will be considered in all areas of particle physics, phenomenology, lattice field theory, quantum field theory, string theory, and particle cosmology.
Applications must be submitted at AcademicJobsOnline, and should include PDF versions of a CV, list of publications, summary of research interests, and three letters of recommendation (submitted to AcademicJobsOnline). PLEASE DO NOT MAIL OR EMAIL APPLICATION MATERIALS DIRECTLY TO US.
For full consideration we must receive your application before Nov 1, 2012. Review of applications will continue until the position is filled. The University of Washington is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
