The Cluster
Our cluster was born out of an initiative, by André Walker Loud, to put a computer on every Physics grad student desk. Part of his initial idea was to set up Condor so that those computers could be used to do research when they are not being used by their primary user. All of this is materializing thanks to STF funds, the help of a number of graduate students, and most especially due to the guys at PACS.
Since we are all going to use this cluster for very different specific purposes, it is important that we share the information we have on how to run such varied applications. One great place to do this is at the Condor wiki page that is hosted at the UW Physics Computing Wiki. Please add as much information as you can to the wiki.
