For students who wish to attend graduate school full-time and earn a PhD degree.

Evening Master's Degree Program in Applications of Physics

For students with an undergraduate degree in a physical science, engineering, mathematics, or computer science, who wish to attend graduate school part-time and earn a terminal Master's degree in Physics. (This program is not intended as preparation for the PhD Program.)

Graduate Non-Matriculated Students (GNMS)

If you have an undergraduate degree and want to take individual Evening MS Program courses without enrolling in the degree program, you may apply for admission as a Graduate Non-Matriculated (GNM) student.

First, ready about our Evening MS Program and the courses offered. Then, please contact the Physics Department Graduate Advisor for further information. Also see the UW Education Outreach Non-Degree Enrollment page for details on GNM applications and registration.
