First-year Student Research Interest - For first-year students who wish to explore research with no requirement to continue beyond the quarter (e.g., group meetings, brown bag lunches, journal clubs, seminars). Students typically register for 1 or 2 credits of PHYS 600.

Introductory Student Research Project - For students seeking an introductory research project that could lead to a thesis adviser and a dissertation topic.
